Stay active holiday emphasizing the aspect relaxing festive and cultural visits. The emphasis is on the discovery of gastronomic riches of our region (an introductory course in French cuisine is
included).
These visits not only allow a privileged encounter with a French family (to understand the lifestyle by sharing it), but also to meet and talk with other people from different countries and
backgrounds.
These moments of sharing are sources of opening to the world and enrichment cultures.
All Inclusive : Transfer from place of arrival (station or airport), accommodation, meals, travel, tours and excursions.
Number of seniors per session: 6 maximum, the manor and coaching them entirely devoted.

Language-study period : Seniors, proposed program as an example * (Focused on the discovery of gastronomy and local)
Week 1 :
Day-themed culinary (visit the street market for work out one meal and experiment
Tableware).
Visit a shipyard traditional "Hermione" (historical reconstruction)
Visit the cellars of Cognac and Pineau.
Visit the castle of "Sleeping Beauty : La Roche Courbon" and old town of Saintes.
Day hiking nature and "Begonia's museum" visit Museum "Shops of past" and cruise on ferry deck.
Evening: Some examples of proposed activities:
Theme nights: Tales under the gaze of the stars (comfortably installed on the terrace of the garden or around a warm fireplace -depend the season)
Conference on Ancient Egypt
Poetry reading (choice of major French authors: Ronsard, Hugo, Baudelaire, etc..)
"Éclade mussel" (gourmet and festive evening in a local summer tradition).
Week 2 :
Visit of Brouage: "l'Aigue Morte des Charentes" then afternoon beach
Free morning ( graded breakfast ) lunch at home . In afternoon visit to La Rochelle and dinner at the old port
Visit the local Roman churches
Excursion to the Island of Oleron
Visit the "museum Pierre Loti" and (afternoon free)
Visit charming villages by the sea: Talmont, Mecher, Mortagne ...
La Tremblade (visit oyster) afternoon beach and festive evening: dinner late stage.
The two weeks stay enables a very good discovery of different cultural wealth, and local history. Alternating cultural trips and summer ctivities that stay will enchant you with its
diversity and richness of the areas covered. Stay to share couple or friends.
